• Search preferences: ZIP codes or cities, price range, bed count, and property types.
• Message activity: delivery status, opt-in and opt-out events, and HELP or STOP requests.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, collected through standard analytics.

3. How we use your information

• To match properties to your criteria and deliver alerts by text message.
• To respond to HELP requests, honor STOP requests, and provide customer support.
• To introduce you to a licensed agent when you ask us to.
• To maintain records of consent as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and CTIA messaging guidelines.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Mobile opt-in data — never sold or shared

Mobile information collected as part of the SMS opt-in process — including your phone number and your consent — will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of personal information remain subject to the disclosures described below.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties, except with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver your messages.

5. When we disclose information

• Service providers: our messaging aggregator, telecom carriers, hosting, and analytics vendors, who may use the data only to perform services for us.
• Real estate professionals: only the details you ask us to pass along when you request an introduction.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
• Business transfer: in a merger or acquisition, subject to the commitments in this policy.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Your messaging choices

• Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately; you will receive one confirmation message.

• Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies by your alert criteria and market activity.
• You may change or pause your alert criteria at any time by contacting us.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to appeal a denied request. Submit a request by emailing privacy@homeinvest.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Data retention and security

We retain consent records and messaging logs for as long as needed to operate the program and to satisfy legal recordkeeping obligations, then delete or de-identify them. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission is completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

The service is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we delete it if we learn we have.
